Meet The Doctors
Dr. Howard J. Sorkin DMD
Dr. Sorkin graduated magna cum laude in 1973 from Tufts University with a degree in engineering. He then attended the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1977. His dental residency was served at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. In 1978 he joined Victor Abramowitz and Joel Leitzer in private practice.
Dr. Sorkin is involved in several volunteer activities. Since 1993 he has been part of the East Brunswick Education Foundation. He was a founding member of this charitable organization which raises funds for instructional projects designed to have a positive impact on learning. He has also helped the American Cancer Society with various fund raising projects and sharing information to the dental community since 1995. He also volunteers at Tufts University as an alumni interviewer for the undergraduate school.
In 2005, he was awarded Partner in Excellence from the East Brunswick Education Foundation. The American Cancer Society Wine and Roses co-honored Dr. Sorkin and his partners in 2005. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Middlesex County Dental Association.
